Best pinpointer ever.

The description says it requires 1 AA battery (included). Wrong. It takes a 9V battery and while it was included, it was already in the device and completely dead. So, if you’re getting this, make sure you have a new 9V, too.Other than that minor inconvenience, this detector works great. I haven’t had a chance to really test it out in a relic area, yet. But, considering that it pinpointed the change I buried in my yard and creek, I’m looking forward to the challenge.

Being new to metal detecting, YouTube was my friend. After days of watching videos and people using pointers, it was a no brainer to buy this one.Works great! I’ve been using 9V lithium rechargeable batteries. There must be something internally that is drawing power even when turned off, as after a couple days of not using it, the battery would be dead. The same happened with 9V alkaline batteries. So now, I just back off the battery compartment a couple turns until the unit won’t turn on and that issue is resolved. The battery stays charged now.Still gets 5 stars!

Found this knife about 4 inches deep under a rock by using this pinpointer. I first detected it with my at pro, then scaned with the pinpointer. Easy operation, just press the buttun and go.

I returned the first one, and the replacement was doing the same thing. Non-stop beeping and vibrating. I called the company and young man very nicely had me change out the battery… Problem solved. Yes, I was right properly embarrassed. They have great customer service!
